Sydney #WikiLeaks Party Comedy Show Fundraiser and Information Night! Poster & FB banner

Courage is indeed contagious! As is laughter... following Brisbane, there's now a Sydney stand up comedy event for The WikiLeaks Party. Buy a $10 ticket on the night or book online now.

WikiLeaks Party members will also be there to discuss the party's platform.

A little about the acts:

Jazz Twemlow – is politically disgruntled, highly caffeinated, a huge fan of William Blake, an at-times clumsy feminist, and a fan of sensory deprivation tanks and Xbox RPGs.

Shayne Hunter – Comedian and activist who believes humor is a back door to people’s minds and can get them to think about things they’d otherwise avoid.

Nick Sun – is an Australian stand-up comedian. He is of Nepalese extraction, but chooses to eschew obvious cultural stereotyping in his act, favouring a style that has been described as ‘unhinged’, ‘offensive’ ‘nihilistic’ and ‘self-destructive.’

Headlining the event will be Michael Workman
‘A sharp and insightful stand up who can kill in any club in the world; a creator of gentle, intricately crafted stage fables and a composer with a filmic range and intensity.

All this with a bulging trophy shelf and a press folder that would make most of us blush… and he has only just begun.

A gifted storyteller with a composer’s range and the hawk eye of one of a killer stand up – no one can tell where this goes next.

2011 Best Newcomer Award – Melbourne International Comedy Festival’
